Joel Kurtzman, then editor-in-chief of the Booz Allen Hamilton magazine Strategy and Business, coined the term "thought leader" in 1994. He used this term to designate individuals who were interviewed for the magazine and who had business ideas that warranted attention. Since then the term has evolved into a catch phrase describing someone who is supposed to have progressive and innovative ideas in their particular area of expertise.
The purpose of this section of the website is to give readers, from time to time, our thoughts on the current market trends and technology status pertaining to our area of expertise, specifically transmission networks, fixed access networks and mobile backhaul networks. Such content will include news items as well as papers and articles which are prepared for publication from time to time.
